There are two settlements that must be made: Bodily Injury and Property Damage

Bodily Injury:

This settlement should accomodate all damages: Medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, etc.

Property Damage:

This settlement should cover the cost and repair/replacement of your vehicle.

Once you settle, it’s done. Nothing can be added or claimed afterward. DO NOT SIGN until you have consulted with an attorney.
